Aigialeus (son of Inachus)
Aigialeus ( Greek Αἰγιαλεύς ) is in Greek mythology the son of the river god Inachos and the Oceanid Melia and brother of Phoroneus . According to a Scholion , he is the son of Phoroneus and Peitho .
The later Achaia was named after him Aigialos . He founded the city of Aigialeia , later Sikyon , and was the first king to rule the country. Pausanias names Europs as the son and successor , after the library of Apollodorus he remained childless and Phoroneus became ruler.
