history
Air Class Líneas Aéreas was founded at the end of 1996 and began flight operations in 1997. At that time, the Dirección Nacional de Aviación Civil e Infraestructura Aeronáutica del Uruguay (DINACIA) and the Argentine Dirección de Transporte Aerocomercial had the approval to carry out regular and unscheduled commercial flights in binational traffic. In early 2001, the company was certified by the Uruguayan Aviation Authority to offer the following services:
- National and international air taxi flights
- National and international, scheduled and unscheduled passenger flights
- National and international, scheduled and unscheduled cargo flights
- National and international, scheduled and unscheduled courier flights
