Akeem Latifu (born June 11, 1992 in Port Harcourt ) is a Nigerian football player .

Career

society

Latifu started his professional career in 2007 at Bussdor United and then played for Ocean Boys and Akwa United .

With his move to the Norwegian club Strømsgodset IF in 2010, his career abroad continued. After only two league appearances at Strømsgodset in one season, he moved to IL Hødd in 2011 . From this club he was loaned to Aalesunds FK in 2013 and handed over to them in 2014.

After he was transferred to the Ukrainian club FK Stal in 2016, he was signed by the Turkish first division club Alanyaspor in the summer transfer period of 2016 . At the beginning of September 2016 he left this club again.

National team

Latifu started his national team career in 2007 with the Nigerian U-20 national team and took part in the 2007 U-20 World Cup . In this tournament, Latifu played four games and made it to the quarter-finals with his team.

In March 2015 he made his debut for the Nigerian national team .
