Akihiro Sakata ( Japanese 阪田 章 裕 Sakata Akihiro ; born May 16, 1984 in Kyoto Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Sakata learned to play football on the university team at Ritsumeikan University . He signed his first contract with Cerezo Osaka in 2007 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed five league games. In 2009 he moved to league competitor Shonan Bellmare . At the end of the 2009 season, the club rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 15 league games. In 2011 he moved to the second division club Ōita Trinita . 2012 season, the club rose to the J1 League. At the end of the 2013 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 122 league games. In 2016 he moved to third division AC Nagano Parceiro . For the club he completed 40 league games. In 2018 he moved to league rivals Fukushima United FC .
