Akira Toshima ( Japanese 戸 島 章 Toshima Akira ; born October 4, 1991 in Miyagi Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
Toshima learned to play soccer on the school team at Seiritsu Gakuen High School . He signed his first contract with JEF United Chiba in 2010 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In August 2013 he was loaned to the third division team Fujieda MYFC . In 2014 he returned to JEF United Chiba. In 2015 he moved to third division club FC Machida Zelvia . In 2015 he was runner-up in the J3 League with the club and was promoted to the J2 League. For the club he completed 79 league games. In 2018 he moved to league rivals Yokohama FC . For the club he completed 49 league games. In 2020 he was loaned to league rival Omiya Ardija .
