Akrem Sassi (born March 2, 1999 ) is a Tunisian discus thrower who also competes in the shot put .

Athletic career

Akrem Sassi gained his first international experience in 2017 at the Junior African Championships in Tlemcen , where he took fifth place in the shot put with a width of 15.09 m and fourth in the discus competition with 48.57 m. He was then at the Arab Championships in Radès with 13.54 m fifth in the shot put. The following year he finished fourth at the Arab U20 Championships in Amman with 16.27 m and 50.14 m respectively, and in 2019 he took part in the Africa Games in Rabat for the first time, where he recorded with 50.63 m came seventh.

In 2018, Sassi became the Tunisian champion in the shot put.
