Aktion '70 Jugendwohngemeinschaft eV was founded in 1970 in the Ernst Moritz Arndt community in Berlin-Zehlendorf. Self-image and mission statement

Aktion '70 sees itself as a network that ensures meaningful transitions between the various forms of help and thereby optimizes help processes. Young people are offered forms of care that appear particularly suitable for their current life situation, based on professional considerations and their own wishes. This network enables meaningful transitions between the offers, prevents the negative consequences of a pillars of aid and optimizes the framework through quality assurance measures. Priority of quality and content over profit and quantity. It's about learning 'independence in self-employment'. The status of non-profit status means orientation towards the ideal goals and only subordinate to business goals. Aktion '70 works in so-called working groups according to § 78 SGB VIII and is a member of the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband.
