Aktivistin.ch (in its own spelling aktivistin.ch ) is a collective of mostly younger feminists founded in Zurich on June 14, 2015 , which has gained national and sometimes international attention through its commitment to women's rights in particular, as well as equality in general.

Trademarks are provocative, mostly humorous and media-effective guerrilla actions, with which deficiencies in gender equality are addressed. The slogan "let's get shit done" is often used to refer to one's own task.

Development and activism

The collective emerged from a meeting that was convened by the Unia union in June 2015 and continues to support the collective with knowledge, infrastructure and material to this day. For the first time, an action on December 11, 2015 attracted broad public attention, when the collective let banknotes rain on Zurich's Paradeplatz to draw attention to the large amount of money that women miss every year through wage discrimination.

This action was followed by other similar actions by the group at irregular intervals. Including those that are only indirectly related to women's rights, such as a petition that criticized derogatory statements on Swiss state television about transgender people.

In the summer of 2016, the collective started the media pillory as a side project . The blog deals with sexism in media reporting and awards the Golden Tampon once a year as a humiliating prize for the most sexist article of the year, which was presented to Blick in its first year .
