Al-Jauf ( Arabic الجوف, DMG al-Ǧauf , also al-Jawf , Italian el-Giof ) is the administrative center of the al-Kufra municipality in Libya .

Al-Jauf is located in the area of ​​the Kufra oases . The village had about 17,320 inhabitants in 1984.
