Theta Cephei (θ Cep, θ Cephei) is a star of the northern circumpolar constellation Cepheus , it is also called Al Kidr .

The 4.2 mag bright Theta Cephei is located approx. 12 ° west of Alpha Cephei (Alderamin), behind Eta Cephei , and shines at a distance of approx. 136 light years .
