Alan David Halsall (born August 11, 1982 in Salford , England ) is a British actor best known for his role as Tyrone Dobbs on the British TV soap Coronation Street , whom he has played since November 1998.

He also had roles in Heartbeat and Queer As Folk.

On June 13, 2009, Halsall married his fellow actress Lucy-Jo Hudson . The couple has a daughter born in 2013.
