Lucy-Jo Hudson (born May 4, 1983 in Leeds , England ) is a British actress .

life and career

Lucy-Jo Hudson is best known in the UK for her role as Katy Harris in the decade-long soap opera Coronation Street , in which she appeared from 2002 to 2005. After that she had a role in Loose Woman . In the ITV series Wild at Heart , she acted as Rosie Travanion, the film daughter of leading actors Stephen Tompkinson and Amanda Holden . The series ran in 2007 on ZDF in the first season under the German title Wildes Herz Afrika .

In 2009 Lucy-Jo Hudson married her fellow actor from Coronation Street, Alan Halsall , who played the character Tyrone Dobbs there . The couple has a daughter born in 2013.
