Alan Jacobs

Alan Jacobs (born December 1, 1958 in New York City ) is an American filmmaker .

He graduated from the public Tappan Zee High School in Orangeburg, New York , briefly prepared for a medical degree at Wesleyan University , but then turned to writing.

He graduated from Stanford Business School (MBA 1988) and then worked on promotional videos for Apple. To advance his film career, he moved to Los Angeles . His first feature film, which he produced independently for $ 600,000 , was accepted at the Sundance Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival .
