Alanda Scott (born February 7, 1981 ) is a former British biathlete .

Alanda Scott is a soldier and starts for the RE Ladies . She competed in her first international race at the 2008 European Biathlon Championships in Nové Město na Moravě . In the singles she ran to 54th place, in the sprint she was 50th, in the pursuit she came 39th and with the British relay Scott was 12. After that she also made her debut in the European Biathlon Cup . In the biathlon World Cup , the British competed for the first time in the 2008/09 season in Hochfilzen and was 104th in the individual. With the relay, an 18th place is her best result so far.

Nationally, Scott was runner-up in the sprint in 2007, in 2008 she won the title with the military patrol, was runner-up in the mass start and came third in the individual, sprint and team. She also won a title in 2009, this time Sprint. With the relay and in the team, she took third place.

Scott was sent to Afghanistan in December 2009 and has not been available to the national team since. Therefore, no British women's relay has been able to compete in the World Cup since then. After the 2009-10 season, Scott is primarily focused on her military career and her career as a triathlete.
