From February 16, 1999 multiple units of the class 490 trains were used as Alaris , since 2008 the RENFE classes 120 and 130 can also be found on this offer.
As with other Spanish long-distance and high-speed trains, use of the Alaris requires a reservation. In addition to the main route, the Alaris also supplements Euromed twice a day on the connection from Barcelona-Sants train station to Alicante .
