Alasdair MacMhaoirn (m) (born August 26, 1958 in Ontario , Canada ) is a nationally active Scottish master of martial arts and holder of the 3rd Dan of Shorinji ryu Karate Do. He is the technical director of Butokukai Scotland and a student of Grand Master Jean Chalamon , Hanshi, 10th Dan. Shorinji ryu (karate, kobudo , tai chi ).

  • 1994: Member of the Scottish Shotokan Academy until 2004.
  • 2004: Founds the Club Karate at Ostaig Sabhal Mòr Ostaig in Isle of Skye .
  • 2006: 2nd Dan, Scottish Kempo Academy | Member of the Northern Budo Alliance.
  • 2011: 3rd Dan Shorinji ryu Karate Do, Kokusai Butokukai | Butokukai Scotland is founded.
