Albert Crusat Domènech (born May 13, 1982 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish former football player .

Player career

The beginnings

Born in Catalonia, Albert Crusat started his football career in his hometown with Espanyol Barcelona . First he played in 2001/2002 for the Espanyol B team, and in the 2002/2003 season even in the first team. There he only made five appearances in his first year as a professional, which is why he went to Rayo Vallecano after the season . Things didn't go any better for him there in League 2. Crusat played again only five times and his team was relegated to the 3rd division.

Regular players

For the 04/05 season Albert Crusat went to the second division promoted UE Lleida , where he made his breakthrough in professional football. As a regular player, he played 35 games and scored four goals. After just a year he left the Catalans again and went to league rivals UD Almería . There he first scored eight, then eleven goals this season. With his goals he helped decisively to achieve the first promotion to the Primera División. There, too, he had a regular seat.
