Albert De Hert

Albert De Hert , sometimes also written Albert Dehert , (born November 18, 1921 , † July 8, 2013 ) was a Belgian football player .

Athletic career

De Hert began playing football at K. Berchem Sport during World War II . There the striker advanced to national team, on January 2, 1949 he made his debut in a 1-1 draw against Spain in the jersey of the Belgian national team . In the following international match he scored his first national team goal in a 3-1 win over Wales . By November 1950 he played a total of ten international matches, scoring three goals. In the 1950/51 season he was the top scorer in the Pro League with 27 goals , but did not make any further international appearances - despite three further appointments by autumn 1951.

In 1955 De Hert ended his active career. He then worked in Antwerp's gastronomy .
