Albert Gehlen

Albert H. Gehlen (born April 1, 1940 in Elsenborn ) is a Belgian politician of the German-speaking Christian Social Party (CSP). Gehlen was a long-time member of the parliament of the German-speaking Community of Belgium, whose chairmanship he held from 1976 to 1981, and of the federal Chamber of Deputies . He was chairman of the CSP from 1971 to 1976. At the local level, Albert Gehlen was Mayor of Sankt Vith from 1989 to 1994 . Gehlen is licensed in Germanic philology and admitted to teaching in the upper secondary school.
