Albert Gray

Albert Grau (born September 4, 1837 in Kassel , † April 24, 1900 in Breslau ) was a German architect who mainly built buildings in Breslau.

Life

Albert Grau was married to Margarethe geb. Bayer. The daughters Ilse and Erika and the son Erich, who also became an architect, came from this marriage.

Buildings (incomplete)

  • Jewish orphanage in Wroclaw-Gräbschen (ul.Grabiszyńska)
  • a still existing nursing home from the Ernest and Heinrich Heimann Foundation in Danziger Strasse (ul. Gdańska) (1881–1884)
  • House 4 Wall Street, Ballestrem Castle (ul. Włodkowica) (1898–1899).
  • Synagogue in Glatz (1884–1885)
