Albert Häusler
Albert "Addi" Häusler (born May 23, 1899 in Blumenthal / Unterweser , † January 19, 1977 in Bremen ) was a German politician and senator from Bremen .
Life
Häusler was born in the district town of the Blumenthal district. He completed an apprenticeship as a lathe operator . In 1917 he joined the Free Trade Union and in 1919 the KPD . Because of his resistance to National Socialism , he spent a year in a concentration camp .
After the Second World War , Häusler rejoined the KPD and in 1945 became chairman of the KPD district of Bremen-Nord . He was a member of the Bremen citizenship from 1946 to 1948 and served as its vice-president for a time. From August to November 1946 he was a semi-official Senator for Housing and Fuel Procurement in the Kaisen I Senate .
In 1968 he joined the newly constituted German Communist Party and was also active in the association of those persecuted by the Nazi regime - the Association of Antifascists .
