Albert Klusmann

Albert Klusmann (born May 9, 1914 in Bremen , † January 20, 1986 in Ganderkesee ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After attending primary school, Klusmann first completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith, then went on to train as a designer and worked for aircraft construction. He received training with the Air Force. After the end of the Second World War and his release from French captivity, he worked for the Deutsche Bundesbahn . In 1954 he rejoined the SPD and two years later became a council member in the municipality of Schönemoor, elected to the district council in 1960 and mayor of the municipality of Schönemoor in 1964. He also became deputy of the district administrator (1967) and in 1972 finally district administrator himself in the Oldenburg district . Klusmann was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from March 12, 1970 to June 20, 1978 (6th to 8th electoral term).

He was married and had four children.
