Albert Krogmann

Albert Krogmann (born April 5, 1941 , † April 10, 1999 in Italy ) was a German television journalist who was best known as a society reporter.

Life

The trained journalist came to television at a young age : from 1961 to 1966 he was director of the ARD news magazine Panorama , which at that time u. a. was moderated by Werner Baecker and Joachim Fest .

However, Krogmann became known to a wide audience as a social reporter : From 1977 to 1993 he presented the SWF entertainment magazine Please turn the page on ARD , in which he presented articles on fashion, film and lifestyle as well as interviews with celebrities from the film and music scene.

He also shot various documentaries, including a. About the band Smokie , about Ted Herold and about the Hamburg music scene around Udo Lindenberg (Von Udo, Otto, Django and others) . Due to his great fame, he himself also made cameo appearances in film productions such as Ulrich Schamoni's Das Traumhaus (1980).

Together with the journalist Peter H. Jamin, Krogmann published the illustrated book Fernweh exclusively about the most beautiful beach hotels in the world.
