Albert Löning

Albert Löning (born October 3, 1767 in Bremen , † December 18, 1849 in Bremen) was a merchant and Bremen senator / councilor.

biography

Löning was the son of the linen merchant Michael Löning (1717–1794) and his wife Gesche (1733–1805). His grandfather was the senator / councilor Georg Jürgen Löning (1682–1744).
He completed his school days in Bremen and trained as a businessman. From around 1798 he was a linen dealer like his father. He became a senior man and commercial judge in 1807 . During the French era in Bremen , he was a municipal councilor from 1811 to 1813 .

From 1816 to 1849 (†) he was the successor to Hermann Berck (1740-1816) Bremen Senator. He lived unmarried at Obernstrasse 12 and from 1841 at Am Wall 64/65.
