Albert Schütte

Albert Schütte (born November 29, 1885 in Oerlinghausen , † June 2, 1953 in Heidenoldendorf ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Schütte was the son of a small farmer. He was of Protestant denomination and married. He worked as a cigar worker and since 1918 at the latest an independent cigar manufacturer in Örlinghausen, since 1933 in Heidenoldendorf.

As part of the November Revolution he was in November 1918, Chairman of the People's Council and soldiers in Oerlinghausen. Between 1919 and 1933 he was city councilor and deputy mayor in Örlinghausen. In the state elections in Lippe in 1919 , he was elected to the Lippe state parliament, to which he belonged until the end of the 1921 electoral term. In the state elections in Lippe in 1921 , he ran for 12th place on the SPD list, but was no longer elected to the state parliament due to the social democrats' loss of votes.

After the seizure of power by the Nazis in 1933, he could not continue his political work. From 1946 to 1953 he was again city councilor and 1946-1952 mayor of Heidenoldendorf.
