Albert Stutzer

Albert Stutzer (born March 4, 1849 in Semmenstedt ; † September 3, 1923 in Godesberg ) was a researcher in agricultural chemistry and an agricultural bacteriologist .

Life

At the University of Göttingen Stutzer 1875 with the work the crude fiber of the Gramineae Dr. phil. PhD. Later he was head of the agricultural research station in Bonn and was appointed professor at the University of Bonn . He then briefly taught at the University of Wroclaw in order to receive the chair for agricultural chemistry at the University of Königsberg in 1899 , so that he also became director of the agricultural-chemical institute there. He was later appointed a secret councilor. After his retirement in Königsberg, Stutzer moved back to his first place of work, Bonn, where he also died.
