Alberta Marques Fernandes

Maria Alberta Marques Fernandes (born January 19, 1968 in , Porto ) is a Portuguese journalist.

Career

Marques Fernandes lived in Angola until he was six years old. She studied international relations at the University of Lusíada and after graduating she devoted herself to a journalistic career. From 1991 she worked for the radio station Rádio Renascença . In 1992 she switched to the newly founded television station SIC and moderated the start of the broadcast on October 6, 1992. At SIC, she was seen in various journalistic formats. She reported for the station from Bosnia, attended the funeral of Lady Diana and the visit of Pope John Paul II in Portugal.

In 2001 she moved to the state broadcaster RTP and took over the moderation of the new morning magazine Bom Dia Portugal . Alternating with Vasco Matos Trigo , Patrícia Gallo , Cecília Carmo and Ana Ribeiro she presented the news magazine Jornal 2 . She is currently anchorwoman for Tarde Informativa on RTPN .

In addition to her work on television, she published the book As Primeiras-Damas .
