history

The deaconess superior Albertine Assor and several co-sisters founded the deaconess association Siloah on May 1, 1907, which initially mainly operated a home for young working girls. From 1927, further hospitals were added in lease agreements. The house was renamed Albertinenhaus in 1940 and was given the association name Albertinen-Diakoniewerk e. V.

On April 1, 2019, the Albertinen Diakoniewerk merged with the Immanuel Diakonie to form the Immanuel Albertinen Diakonie . Immanuel Albertinen Diakonie gGmbH is based in Hamburg.

Facilities

The Diakoniewerk operated the Albertinen Hospital and the Albertinen House - Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology in Hamburg- Schnelsen , the Evangelical Amalie Sieveking Hospital, the Residenz am Wiesenkamp, ​​the Feierabendhaus and the Diakonie-Hospiz Volksdorf in Hamburg -Volksdorf .
