Alberto Ceradelli

Alberto Ceradelli (* 1856 in Guastalla ; † after 1883) was an Italian violinist and music teacher.

Ceradelli began his musical training in Bologna in 1862. He then studied at the Milan Conservatory and at the same time became a member of the orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala . In 1883 he was engaged for the orchestra of the Teatro Municipal de Santiago , which was known at the time by the tenor Julián Gayarre . He later taught violin, piano and singing at the Conservatorio Nacional . With Juan Gervino , also a teacher at the conservatory, the Bolivian Germán Decker and the cellist Arturo Hügel from Germany, he founded the Sociedad Cuarteto , which in addition to works by Ludwig van Beethoven ,Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy , Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart performed works by Richard Wagner and Georg Friedrich Handel as well as compositions by Chilean musicians such as Fabio de Petris and Guillermina Antonietti de Abba .
