Alberto Luiz de Souza (born April 27, 1975 in Campo Grande ), also known as Alberto , is a former Brazilian striker .

Career

He started his career in 1995 at Ituano FC . After a year, Alberto moved to SC Internacional until 1998 . In the 1998/1999 season he was under contract with the Italian club Club Necaxa . From 1999 to 2006 he was signed by the Brazilian clubs Paulista FC , Rio Branco , Palmeiras São Paulo , Náutico Capibaribe , Botafogo , FC Santos , Corinthians São Paulo , Atlético Mineiro and Coritiba FC . In 2007 he moved to the Japanese club Ventforet Kofu . A year later he left the club and was without a club for two years. At the end of his career, he was under contract with the Brazilian club Catanduvense FC from 2010 to 2011 .
