Albin Gashi (born January 25, 1997 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Gashi began his career at FK Blau-Weiß Hollabrunn . Between 2004 and 2005 he played at ATSV Hollabrunn . In 2007 he switched to the youth team at SK Rapid Vienna . After returning to Blau-Weiß Hollabrunn in summer 2008, he moved again to Rapid in winter 2009/10.

After initially playing in the academy, he made his debut for the amateur team in the Regionalliga in March 2014 when he came on as a substitute for Ferdinand Weinwurm on matchday 16 of the 2013/14 season against SC Wiener Viktoria in the 76th minute .

After more than 70 games for the amateurs, he was awarded as a cooperation player to the second division club Floridsdorfer AC for the 2017/18 season. He made his debut in the second division in July 2017, when he started against SC Austria Lustenau on the first day of that season .

In August 2018 it was awarded to the second division club FC Den Bosch in the Netherlands . After three appearances for the Dutch in the Eerste Divisie , he moved back to Austria on loan to the second division club SV Horn in January 2019 .

He initially returned to Rapid for the 2019/20 season before moving to Floridsdorfer AC in July 2019, for which he was already on loan in the 2017/18 season. In the 2019/20 season he made 22 appearances in the second division for the Viennese. For the 2020/21 season, Gashi moved to Albania for first division club FK Kukësi , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2022.
