Albin Wira (born December 19, 1953 in Chorzów ) is a Polish football coach and former Polish player .

Career

The midfielder Albin Wira began his professional career in 1973 at Ruch Chorzow . With Ruch, Wira became Polish champions in 1974, 1975 and 1979 and Polish cup winners in 1974. In the summer of 1982 Wira moved to TuS Schloß Neuhaus from Paderborn , which had just been promoted to the 2nd German Bundesliga . Albin Wira played 15 games in the second division for Neuhaus and failed to score. After Schloß Neuhaus was relegated at the end of the season as bottom of the table, Wira played for the club in the Oberliga Westfalen for two years . In the summer of 1985 TuS Schloß Neuhaus merged with local rivals 1. FC Paderborn to form TuS Paderborn-Neuhaus , for whom Wira played for a year before he returned to Ruch Chorzów. In 1989 he was again Polish champion with the club in 1989. At the same time he ended his career.

Later he struck a coaching career and trained three times GKS Tychy , twice Ruch Chorzów and the clubs Polonia Bytom and Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała .
