Albinas Sirvydis
Albinas Sirvydis (born September 7, 1949 in the Zarasai district ) is a Lithuanian lawyer and criminal judge .
Life
From 1967 to 1968 Sirvydis studied at the Politechnikos institutas in Kaunas . From 1968 to 1973 he completed his degree in law at the Vilniaus universitetas . From 1973 to 1975 he did compulsory service in the Soviet Army . From 1975 to 1982 he worked at the Akmenė District Court . From 1976 he was a judge and from 1982 president of the court in Akmenė . From 1985 to 1994 he worked as a judge at Lietuvos Aukščiausiasis Teismas (LAT) and from 1995 to 1999 as court president in the Vilnius District Court . From September 1999 he was a judge at the LAT.
Sirvydis is married. His wife is Elvyra Sirvydienė (* 1952).
