Albrecht Schrader

Albrecht Schrader (* 1983 in Hamburg ) is a German composer, musician and entertainer.

Life

In 2012 he made his solo debut with the EP Jill McBain , released an instrumental album online with Warm Hugs' n Silly Grooves in 2015 , reached a wider audience with the EP Leben In Der Großstadt in 2016 and released his first pop album at Staatsakt in 2017 Nonetheless , out. From 2016 to the beginning of 2019, he and Lorenz Rhode led the radio dance orchestra Ehrenfeld , which was newly founded for the late night show Neo Magazin Royale and toured Germany in 2018 and 2019. Schrader is the presenter and host of the Cologne-based Galerie Decadence , a full-length music and entertainment format, and has worked on various larger and smaller studio productions by other artists, including Pete Doherty and Herrenmagazin , wrote for Katrin Bauerfeind , 1 Live Krone and others. In 2016 he composed the music for Thomas Melle's play Ännie . From 2010 to 2011 he was a live member of the Augsburg indie pop band Anajo .

Private

Albrecht Schrader grew up in Hamburg. After graduating from high school, he studied historical musicology, theater, film, television and classical literature at the University of Cologne.
