Albrecht Schultz

Albrecht Schultz (born February 25, 1919 in Naunhof near Moritzburg ; † August 29, 2007 in Honolulu , Hawaii ) was a German manager at the household appliance manufacturer Braun .

After the war, Schultz studied business administration at the University of Munich.

From 1954 until his retirement in 1984 he worked for Braun AG (later Braun GmbH). In 1976, Schultz became deputy chairman of the board at Braun. Sales and marketing were his areas of responsibility within the board . His work on the board at Braun was characterized by his loyalty to specialist dealers with price and sales binding. He also attached great importance to the question of product design . After his retirement, Schultz was a member of the advisory board of Braun AG until he emigrated in 1994.

Schultz represented the Braun company in numerous important committees and institutions. Until 1994 he was on the board (presidium) of the brand association (MV) and chairman of the MV committee for competition policy. From 1981 to 1990 on the board of the GEM Society for Research into Brands. He was a member of the Presidium of the Central Office for Combating Unfair Competition . From 1975 to 1994 Schultz sat on the industry committee of the IHK Frankfurt am Main and was a member of the general assembly of the IHK from 1979 to 1990.

Because of the serious illness of his wife from Hawaii, Schultz emigrated to Honolulu / Hawaii in 1994 at the age of 75. From there, too, he took part in the German competition policy debate for years.
