Albrecht von Graffenried (born February 1, 1629 in Grandson , † October 17, 1702 in Moudon ) was a politician of the city ​​and republic of Bern .

Life

Albrecht von Graffenried was the son of Anton von Graffenried (II.) (1597–1675). In 1651 he became a member of the city council of Bern . From 1657 to 1663 he was Obervogt von Schenkenberg , and in 1672 he became Governor of Nidau . Albrecht von Graffenried owned the lords of Carrouge , Bourgeau, Les Cullayes , Corcelles and Mézières . He was married to Esther Dachselhofer . The two had 14 children.
