The Alder Bourne is a watercourse in Buckinghamshire , England . It arises northwest of Fulmer and initially flows through the town in an easterly direction. East of the junction of the M25 motorway and the M40 motorway , it turns in a southerly direction, in which it flows to its confluence with the Colne Brook .
