The Colne Brook is a watercourse in Buckinghamshire , England . It arises as a branch of the River Colne near Uxbridge on the border of Greater London and Buckinghamshire. While the River Colne continues in Greater London, the Colne Brook turns west and flows south after crossing under the M25 motorway . Between Iver and Thorney it runs east of the M25 again. At the junction of the M25 and M4 motorway , it first crosses under the M25 to the west and then the M4 to the south and then runs west of the M25 to its confluence with the Thames at the M25 Runnymede Bridge downstream of the Bell Weir Lock .

The Poyle Channel connects the Colne Brook with the Wraysbury River .
