Mauvezin-sur-Gupie ( Occitan : Mauvèsin ) is a French municipality with 593 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Mauvezin-sur-Gupie belongs to the arrondissement of Marmande and the canton of Les Coteaux de Guyenne (until 2015: canton of Marmande-Ouest ). The inhabitants are called Mauvezinois .
geography
Mauvezin-sur-Gupie is about 53 kilometers northwest of Agen am Gupie . The Côtes du Marmandais wine-growing region extends into the municipality.
Mauvezin-sur-Gupie is surrounded by the neighboring communities Caubon-Saint-Sauveur in the north, Saint-Avit in the east and north-east, Escassefort in the east and south-east, Marmande in the south, Beaupuy in the south-west and Castelnau-sur-Gupie in the west and north-west.
