Fauguerolles is a municipality in the southwest of France with 790 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) and is located in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (2016: Aquitaine ).

geography
The municipality lies between Marmande and Tonneins and includes the place Labouthe. Due to its location on the railway line between Bordeaux and Toulouse , the village had its own train station for a long time, but it is no longer in operation. The Route départementale 813 leads through the municipality.

Toponymy
The community derives its name from the Latin word falgaria , which means 'place teeming with ferns'.
