history
The municipality of Agnac was founded by the merger of two parishes, which was signed before the Concordat of 1801: Agnac (Diocese of Périgueux) and Iffour (Diocese of Agen). The station of La Sauvetat-du-Dropt was built in Agnac, which was busy between 1886 and 1953 with three daily trains in the directions Bordeaux , Marmande and Bergerac .
