Saint-Martin-Petit ( Occitan : Sent Martin Petit ) is a French municipality with 586 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Saint-Martin-Petit belongs to the arrondissement of Marmande and the canton of Les Coteaux de Guyenne (until 2015: canton of Marmande-Ouest ). The inhabitants are called Petit-Martinois .

Saint-Martin-Petit is about 58 kilometers northwest of Agen . The Côtes du Marmandais wine-growing region extends into the municipality. Saint-Martin-Petit is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Michel-de-Lapujade in the north and north-west, Lagupie in the east, Sainte-Bazeille in the south and south-east, Jusix in the south-west and Lamothe-Landerron in the west.
