Fourques-sur-Garonne ( Gascon : Forcas de Garona ) is a French municipality with 1318 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Lot-et-Garonne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Marmande and the canton Marmande-2 (until 2015: canton Le Mas-d'Agenais ). The inhabitants are called Fourquais .

Fourques-sur-Garonne is located about 72 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux on the Garonne . Fourques-sur-Garonne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marmande in the north and north-west, Saint-Pardoux-du-Breuil in the north-east, Taillebourg in the east, Caumont-sur-Garonne in the south-west, Sainte-Marthe in the south, Samazan in the west and south-west as well Montpouillan to the west and northwest.
