Saint Blaise parish church

It was built in the 15th century in the hamlet of Moirax, today's center of the community, and redesigned in the 18th century.

Laperche Castle

The property was mentioned in the scriptures in 1259 and 1270. In the 16th century it came into the hands of the powerful Albret family. Jeanne d'Albret (1528–1572), Queen of Navarre and mother of the future French King Henry IV , used the building as a hunting lodge. As a result, the medieval building was replaced by the castle building that can be seen today. The large residential wing was built on a terrace, the masonry of which is made of ashlar, probably dating back to the 13th century. A large park of 90 hectares extends around the castle, which is still presented today as a hunting ground with palombières . Today the castle is privately owned and not open to the public.
