Theodor Dengler
Theodor Dengler (born July 20, 1867 in Karlsruhe , † July 20, 1902 in Erfurt ) was a German genre and portrait painter as well as an art teacher.
Theodor Dengler studied from 1883 to 1885 at the Kunstgewerbeschule Karlsruhe and from 1885 at the Grand Ducal Badische Kunstschule Karlsruhe in the nature class with Ernst Schurth , then as a master student with Ferdinand Keller . From 1898 Dengler taught at the Berlin craft school and from 1899 until his death at the state-municipal craft and applied arts school in Erfurt . Theodor Dengler died at the age of 35.
