The Gupie is a river just under 20 kilometers long in the Lot-et-Garonne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in southwest France .

The Gupie rises in the south of the municipality of Monteton in the historical province of Agenais and then runs in a south-westerly direction until it flows into the Garonne at the small town of Sainte-Bazeille .

Tributaries

Numerous streams flow into the gupie; the longest are the Caubon (approx. 11 km), the Rieutord (approx. 5 km) and the Régane (approx. 5 km).

use

The gupie's water is used for irrigation; it is heavily polluted by washed out agrochemicals . In midsummer the gupie often dries up.

The Gupie flows through the Côtes du Marmandais wine-growing region .
