Aldomir Mollov

Aldomir Mollov (* 11. April 1965 ) is a Bulgarian opera - and operetta - singer ( baritone ).

Life

Mollov studied singing at the National Music Academy Sofia with Resa Koleva and Pavel Gerdzhikov and graduated with honors. Since 2001 he has been a member of the ensemble of the Hessian State Theater in Wiesbaden . Before that he was engaged at the Komische Oper Berlin from 1991 to 1993 and at the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau from 1993 to 1996 .

There and at the theaters in Stralsund and Darmstadt , he has since performed in several roles as a soloist, such as Dr. Cajus in Otto Nicolai's opera Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor , Heerrufer in Richard Wagner's Lohengrin (new production, season 1994/95; premiere: May 1995), father Germont in Giuseppe Verdi's opera La traviata , 5th Jew in Richard Strauss ' opera Salome , Zigeuner in Verdi's Il trovatore , usher in the opera Rigoletto by the same composer as well as in the operetta The Bird Dealer by Carl Zeller .
