Alec Mills

Alec Mills (born May 10, 1932 in London ) is a British cameraman .

He began his career as a camera assistant in the mid-1950s. From the following decade he also worked as a simple cameraman. He completed his first job as an independent cameraman in the early 1980s. Alec Mills often worked with director John Glen . Starting with James Bond 007 - On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) he was involved in seven James Bond films, the majority as a simple cameraman.

At the beginning of the 1990s he directed two films: Red Moon ( Bloodmoon , 1990) and Doctor Under Suspicion ( Dead Sleep , 1992).

In July 2014 he published his autobiography about his life as a cameraman with Shooting 007. And Other Celluloid Adventures .
