Alejandro Alberto Borrajo (born April 24, 1980 in Viedma Rio Negro ) is a former Argentine cyclist .

Alejandro Borrajo began his international career in 2003 with the Italian cycling team Ceramiche Panaria . At the Giro d'Italia 2004 , his several Grand Tour , he came third in the sixth stage from Spoleto to Valmontone behind Alessandro Petacchi and Olaf Pollack . He finished the tour in 79th place. In the German one-day race around the Henninger Tower , he was only beaten by Erik Zabel in 2005 . In 2010 he won stages of the Tour of the Gila and in 2012 a stage of the Tour of the Gila .

Alejandro Borrajo's brothers Aníbal and Armando were also active cyclists. Armando Borrajo committed suicide on December 16, 2010 after being kidnapped for two days. Alejandro broke his arm trying to intervene.
