Alejandro Manuel Hisis Araya (born February 16, 1962 in Valparaíso ) is a former Chilean football player on the position of defender .

career

Hisis began his career at the Buenos Aires- based Club Comunicaciones, where he worked in 1978 and 1979. In January 1980 he returned to his homeland and received a contract with the most popular club in the country, CSD Colo-Colo , with which he won the Mexican football championship twice and the Chilean cup competition three times .

During his time with the Albos , he was also a member of the Chilean soccer team that took part in the soccer tournament of the 1984 Summer Olympics.

In the summer of 1985 Hisis moved to the Greek club OFI Crete , where he was under contract until 1990. In the 1986/87 season Hisis was part of the successful squad of the team that won the Greek cup competition for the only time in the club's history .

At the beginning of the 1990s, Hisis played for the Mexican club CF Monterrey , with whom he was able to win the Mexican Cup competition in the 1991/92 season . For this club, too, it was the only success so far in the national cup competition.

Hisis then played again for a few months at CSD Colo-Colo and was part of the team that won the Copa Interamericana in 1992.

Afterwards Hisis was another two years in Mexico, where he was first in the Tigres UANL and then the CF Pachuca was under contract before he end his playing career in his homeland, where he still the CD Palestino and when Santiago Morning worked .

Between 1983 and 1989 Hisis completed a total of 41 missions (two goals) for the Chilean national soccer team .
